Service and repair of diving equipment

NOTE! We always use the manufacturer's original service kits for your safety. Please check the bag yourself upon collection.

At Kingfish you will have your diving equipment serviced by our skilled service technicians.

Rasmus is our professional service technician and will be happy to help and guide you. You can therefore feel more than safe in entrusting your regulator set or other equipment to Rasmus.

How often should your diving equipment be serviced?

Basically, there are 2 rules of thumb when it comes to servicing your diving equipment. We recommend that you have your diving equipment serviced at least once a year, or after every 100 dives, to maintain optimal safety. The rule is that whichever of the 2 rules of thumb comes first should apply. It may also be a good idea to have your diving equipment serviced or cleaned properly before you end the diving season. Especially if you do not dive in the winter.

Below you will find the standard prices for repairs and service. Contact our Service Department by email sara@kingfish.dk to get a time and a specific offer. Regulator sets are generally serviced within two weeks. Battery replacement and pressure testing are serviced within one week. You cannot expect that your equipment can be serviced the same day you hand it in. It is therefore a good idea to be in good time if you are going to travel.

We service the following brands: Scubapro, Apeks, Aqualung, Mares, Halcyon, Seac Sub, Cressi, Sherwood, Oceanic, Hollis, Zeagle, Atomic. However, we make reservations for discontinued models, as well as missing service kits/spare parts for your equipment and equipment/hardware that has broken parts that we cannot repair.

Get a complete servicing of your regulator set

A complete service consists of several steps. First, the entire 1st and 2nd stages are disassembled. Then it is thoroughly cleaned of corrosion, dirt and anything else that should not be there. All parts and gaskets from the regulator set are replaced with new original parts from the service kit. Rasmus then reassembles the set, sets, tests and adjusts both the 1st and 2nd stages, as well as your Octopus, so that it works like it did when new.
